We believe in citizen-led government, family values, and preserving the character & charm of Williamson County.

Grassroots leaders represent the will of the people. Courageous and humble, they are often inspired by the Almighty and called to the work of preserving or saving their community.

Our Values

  • Preserve the character and charm of Williamson County. As unchecked growth continues, our quality of life deteriorates. Traffic, taxes, crime, overcrowding in schools and pollution in our rivers are all consequences we are facing from the “develop now and worry about the problems later” crowd.

We believe in reasonable growth and sustainable growth that protects our history, rural lands, farming community and small businesses. We need to ask ourselves, what does Williamson County look like in 10 years? The citizens have to be able to have a say in what their future looks like.

Multi-national development conglomerates are currently buying up Williamson County lands by the 1,000’s of acres and developing irresponsibly. When they are done lining their pockets at our expense, we will be stuck with the results.

It all comes down to zoning. Our county commissioners and city commissioners (or aldermen) are responsible for zoning. We advocate for no more increased zoning density and no more urban expansion by cities annexing rural county land.

Conservation Subdivisions are another problem. This is a loophole that developers use to work around the Williamson County rural zoning of one home per five acres. If you see a sprawling development with one acre lots in a rural zoned area, a “Conservation Subdivision” is the reason why. It is clear at this point that Conservation Subdivisions do not work as intended and need to be eliminated by our county commissioners.

  • Create fraud-free elections. Williamson County is a victim of Tennessee’s primary laws which allow Democrats to “crossover” and vote in Republican primaries. There is no enforcement mechanism that prevents Democrats from doing this. Establishment Republicans support this system because it helps them get elected. We need a truly closed primary system so Democrats can no longer choose our Republican candidates.

We must discard our current voting machines, and return to paper ballots that are hand-marked. To accomplish this, we must return to our previous precinct-based voting and eliminate our current system of voting centers, which are risky and rely on internet connections.

  • Limit the size and reach of government. Williamson County is over $1 billion in debt with over $100 million in annual interest payments on that debt. A lack of government efficiency and transparency has led to waste and abuse of taxpayer funds.

A change of course is needed in our county and city governments to return the focus to the citizens and away from the interests of the political and corporate establishment with their desire to spend money.

  • Promote public safety and reduce crime. By electing and supporting public servants that are serious about the rule of law, we can make Williamson County safer. Our businesses and communities must be protected from crime encroaching from Davidson County.

Also, President Trump’s immigration enforcement must be supported locally. Our County Sheriff’s Department should be fully staffed and resourced, which currently is not the case.

  • Reestablish school education over indoctrination. Today’s curriculum eliminates the opportunity to debate and often presents opinions or ideologies as fact. We need to guide children to explore challenging multifaceted issues and encourage critical thinking.

There is a troubling trend of rewriting history, coupled with an excessive focus on social-emotional learning that emphasizes students' feelings over their education. These trends promote collectivism, minimize individualism, and encourage student activism.

Our school libraries contain content that raise concerns regarding age appropriateness and suitability. Currently, 36% of our high school students test below reading proficiency levels, underscoring the urgent need to return to the foundational principles of education.

  • Win with ideas and truth. Far too many political campaigns in Williamson County have resorted to personal slander and smear campaigns against their political opponents.

Besides being dishonest and uncivil, this common practice by establishment Republicans keeps good people from coming forward to participate in volunteerism and representative government.

  • Embrace faith-centered and traditional values. The secular doctrine of gender ideology, the LGBTQ agenda and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion have no place in our community. The spread of these influences into Williamson County from Davidson County need to be soundly rejected and reversed.

  • Restore full Second Amendment protections. Contrary to what some believe, Tennessee is not a true constitutional carry state. Current state law makes it a criminal offense to keep and carry firearms even in your own homes, vehicles or property with “the intent to go armed.”

The state law places the burden on the individual to prove that they have a valid “defense” such as a handgun permit or being in their own home. Erosions of our constitutional rights by converting them into “defenses” to a crime opens the door for corruption and selective enforcement of laws. This can particularly be a problem in blue counties.
